Of the iPhones, the iPhone4S has the best video support for LapTimer. This sounds strange as the 5, 5S, 6 etc. introduced great video features. However, many of the optimizations were not in favor of track day users moving fast around a circuit. Track videos from the latest generation iPhones will have more “jello effects” compared to the 4S.
